Qu'est-ce que la thérapie psychodynamique ?

Comment se déroule une thérapie psychodynamique brève ?
La thérapie psychodynamique brève (12 à 30 séances) est une version focalisée de la thérapie psychodynamique qui se concentre sur un thème ou un conflit central. Elle peut explorer des patterns relationnels spécifiques, des deuils non résolus, des conflits inconscients liés à un problème actuel, ou des réactions émotionnelles récurrentes. Elle est plus active et focalisée que la thérapie psychodynamique à long terme, avec un thème clairement défini dès le début.
Pourquoi parle-t-on autant du passé en thérapie psychodynamique ?
L'exploration du passé en thérapie psychodynamique n'est pas une fin en soi — c'est un moyen de comprendre et de transformer le présent. Les patterns qui se sont développés dans l'enfance (façons de se relier, de gérer les émotions, de se percevoir) continuent d'influencer la vie actuelle, souvent sans qu'on en soit conscient. En comprenant comment ces patterns se sont formés et comment ils se reproduisent, il devient possible de les modifier et de vivre différemment dans le présent et l'avenir.
