Registered Psychotherapist

I specialize in working with people navigating grief, loss, and major life changes—especially the ones that shake up your sense of identity, meaning, and direction. That includes sudden or traumatic losses, anticipatory grief, and complicated or ambiguous losses that don’t have clear closure. My approach is straightforward, relational, and holistic. I draw from a variety of therapy styles (narrative, ACT, CBT, psychodynamic, and spiritual/existential) based on what you need. That might mean exploring your beliefs about death, identity, or love. Or figuring out how to cope with a caregiving role, a broken relationship, or a version of your life that no longer fits. You might not know what you need right away—most people don’t. I help by asking good questions, noticing patterns, and offering structure so you’re not just spinning your wheels. You can expect our sessions to feel like hanging out and having honest conversations where you're supported but also challenged - the work is happening behind the scenes. I don’t give false hope, but I do believe in your ability to grow and heal, even when things feel uncertain. Death is something we all face, but few of us are taught how to talk about it. In our work, we can make space for the discomfort, the silence, and the search for meaning around dying and what comes after. Whether you're grieving, caregiving, or facing mortality yourself, you're not meant to do it alone. I also have experience in hospice and end-of-life care, and welcome clients who want to explore death, dying, and the meaning-making that surrounds it. We might be a good fit if: - You want a therapist who is warm but direct (I won’t just nod and smile). - You’re grieving something big and don’t want to be told to “move on.” - You’re navigating complicated family dynamics or caregiving. - You’re open to exploring spiritual or existential questions. - You prefer therapy that feels conversational, not clinical. - You value having a long-term therapist you can return to as needed. I work with adults of all ages, and many of my clients are in their 20s–40s going through major transitions or dealing with first-time grief.
