Hi there! I am a Registered Psychologist working with couples and individuals in Bridgeland, Calgary. If you struggle with feeling disconnected from others and yourself, and believe you "aren't enough" despite continuously working to help yourself and others, I might be a fit for you. More than ever, we are feeling anxious, burnt out, and overwhelmed about how we can fully engage in our lives, careers, and relationships. Pushing away our needs and struggling to find the first step can lead to emotional, mental and physical exhaustion. While pain is inevitable, we can choose gentler ways of moving through the highs and lows. I support couples and people struggling with relationship challenges, people pleasing, perfectionism, burnout or anything that leads us to feeling “not enough.” You do not need to be “fixed,” but you may benefit from new skills, perspectives or clarity on what you want and need. Change is hard, but often staying the same is even harder. I am trained in the Gottman Method for working with couples (Levels 1 and 2) and LOVE supporting couples in maintenance, or helping them reconnect after either growing apart or struggling in the aftermath of a disruption to their relationship. For individuals, I work from an integrative lens, pulling from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existentialism, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and incorporate mindfulness and self compassion. If you are parenting little ones that struggle with anxiety of their own, I also have training from the Neufeld Institute and can support you in supporting your family.
