As a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Ripple Effect Counselling & Psychotherapy in Hintonburg, Ottawa, I provide a safe space for healing and growth. I hold an MA in Counselling Psychology and utilize trauma-informed approaches, including Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. Together, we can work through life's challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.

Biographie

Welcome. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #11921) and the founder of Ripple Effect Counselling & Psychotherapy, located in the Hintonburg neighborhood of Ottawa. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Carleton University. In my practice, I focus on trauma-informed, body-oriented approaches to healing. I am currently undertaking advanced clinical training in Somatic Experiencing and working toward my full EMDR certification. Integrating these modalities allows me to help clients process deeply rooted trauma and stress that traditional talk therapy might not fully reach. By focusing on nervous system regulation, we can work together to restore a sense of safety and balance. I believe that therapy is a highly collaborative process. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate, and strictly non-judgmental environment where you can safely explore your experiences at your own pace. Whether you are navigating anxiety, processing past trauma, or working through major life transitions, we will work together to build resilience and foster the positive ripple effects that lead to a more fulfilling life.
