Welcome! I’m Zhongxue He (Joanna), a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. Life can feel overwhelming at times, but healing begins when you have someone who truly understands and walks beside you. I specialize in trauma therapy, supporting clients as they heal from racial, intergenerational, childhood, sexual, relational, grief-related, immigration, and workplace wounds. My holistic approach nurtures the mind, body, and spirit and is tailored to meet your unique needs. By integrating evidence-based therapies such as SFBT, CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, and IFS, we’ll work together to uncover the root causes of your challenges, expand your self- awareness, release trapped emotions, and create corrective emotional experiences that empower you to respond to life with confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of self. With my deep understanding of Christian and Buddhist philosophies, I also support you in integrating your spiritual identity into the healing journey, helping you find deeper meaning and purpose in your life.
