Biographie

Hello! My name is Stacey Sanderson. I have been working in the fields of social work, medicine and mental health for over thirty-three years. Seeing trends in therapy come and go over time, I bring the wisdom and experience to know how to meet people where they are at and work collaboratively to find the approach that is is eclectic, research-informed and intuitively guided. I work from a holistic framework integrating decades of trauma -trained and somatically focused interventions. I am also integrating Non-Violent Communication in relational work. I have specific training and expertise in narcissistic abuse and recovery. This encompasses, toxic partner relationships, family and community, and faith-based systems, friendships and workplaces. This work has been the focus of research, writing and creating resources that are trauma-informed and empowering. I am the author of the book: 'Heart Wide Open: A Holistic Guide to Self-Recovery from Narcissistic Wounding'. I frequently am a guest on a variety of podcasts, host a YouTube channel and enjoy creating workshops. My husband and I have 2 adult children and enjoy living in rural Ontario where we hike, ski, curl, kayak, boat and garden. I am also a rugby enthusiast and enjoy playing to the best of my ability!
