I am passionate about supporting people in navigating challenges and building their strengths to facilitate sustainable change.

Biographie

I'm a Registered Social Worker with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. I am also registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers to provide telehealth services. I did my BSW at St. Thomas and recently graduated a Master of Social Work from Wilfred Laurier. I have lived experience with depression, trauma, grief, Intimate Partner Violence and ADHD. I am constantly searching for new learning opportunities and practice primarily from a strength-based, anti-oppressive, anti-racist perspective. I am passionate about supporting people in navigating challenges and building their strengths. ​ I pride myself with being honest and relatable when working with clients. Having attended therapy before I know how important therapeutic relationships are. I'm not an expert, but rather a neutral person to talk about the things you are struggling with and remind you of the skills and resources you have at your disposal. ​ YOU are the expert, YOU have the skills to navigate your life and relationships, but sometimes we need support to remember, reframe, or explore new techniques.
